RomRod Kickstarter Orders All Fulfilled!

RomRod Supporters,

We are writing this update with Great News! We have successfully fulfilled all RomRod Kickstarter orders that have correctly completed their BackerKit Survey and paid for shipping! We apologize for the delays we encountered through this tireless but amazing journey. And, we can't say Thank You enough for your continued support and patience. 

For those of you that have not received your RomRod device(s); it may be because of one of a few reasons:

     1. There are approximately 40 RomRod Kickstarter orders currently in transit. These are on their way and if you do not have tracking information, we can forward that to you.

     2. You did not complete your BackerKit Survey.

     3. Your credit card may have been declined for the shipping fee requirement (only 3 people currently).

     4. It may be stuck/stopped at Customs. Your phone number was used for the shipping facilitator. So, you should have been contacted if this is the case.

     5. You changed address during the fulfillment process. 

If any of these are the case, Please Reach out to us and we will get this issue resolved (Contact Info Below)

For those of you that received your device but had some other issue, faulty device, broken during transit, etc: As stated above, Please Reach out to us and we will get this issue resolved.

RomRod Shipping Update

Good afternoon everyone,

I am pleased to update you all on our progress over the last few days since receiving the second production order!

We (Haley and family) have been hard at work to fulfill your orders as quickly as possible as we now have the devices to do so. The majority of our inventory was sent to our house and is currently being stored in our garage, taking up our garage gym, haha. See pics below.

The second half of our production order was sent to a fulfillment center that we are proud to be working alongside now. Shane and I did extensive research on how to best fulfill and ship international orders, and we found that the best route to go was to have a fulfillment center help us in this area. Our center is going to be able to navigate international shipping better than we could have done it ourselves. So, for all international orders, your orders are currently being fulfilled through them and have begun shipment! Yay :)

All domestic orders are being fulfilled by us. And I am very pleased with the progress we have made in the last 2 days. Today we sent out all domestic: single, blacked out RomRod orders, over half of the combo orders of 1 black/1 silver RomRod, and all domestic orders that had 3+ devices. I am currently waiting on our larger boxes to be replenished to fulfill the rest of our domestic combo orders of 1 black/1 silver RomRod, and this will be complete at the beginning of next week!

We are forever grateful for your patience in this process. We are so pleased to be getting your RomRods to you in a timely manner now.

RomRod Update - We Have INVENTORY

RomRod Supporters,

We finally have some amazing news. This weekend, we received our second production order. And, for those that have not yet received your RomRod device, your order will be fulfilled. This production order includes 1,500 Original Silver devices and 1,000 Special Edition Blacked Out RomRods.

Haley and I truly appreciate the support and understanding we received from many of y'all. It may take a minute to get "your" order fulfilled, but please trust us that everyone that backed RomRod on Kickstarter and Indiegogo will shortly have their device in their hands!

Update for an Update

Good afternoon,

It has been almost 2 months since our last update. We have been working hard to get better information to share with our backers who are still waiting for their RomRod(s). We are extremely frustrated as we wait on product as well. Unfortunately, being a small business, the competition for getting space on sea freight has been a challenge.

A few things we do know:

- Second production order is finished and has been QCed. This includes blacked out RomRod devices as well.

- This order was supposed to ship out in January, and with the supply chain logistics, it unfortunately did not.

- We are currently in the process of having this second production order sent over by air freight to speed up the process. We are more than willing to pay the expense to expedite this process as we know you have been waiting longer than expected.

We hope to have an ETA of this order by the beginning on next week. 

Rubber End Caps-

As mentioned in our last update, we have received our first order of rubber end caps. We have delayed announcements on how to purchase or how to earn a set of rubber end caps for free. This was done on purpose for those backers who have yet to received their RomRod device.

To Purchase:

They will be on sale on Shopify for $6.99 a set in the very near future. We hope to have more details in this regard and update everyone when we get the RomRod Device shipment information.

To Earn:

We would like to offer an opportunity for individuals to send us a video or written testimonial for a free set of RomRod Rubber End Caps. The process of setting up this testimonial acquisition process is being created currently. Again, we will have more information on this when we send out our next update.

Multi Unit Tactical Bag:

Another ancillary project we are excited to add to RomRod is our Multi Unit Tactical Bag. This bag will best serve Gyms, Physical Therapy Facilities, Traveling Fitness Trainers, and Collegiate and Professional Strength and Conditioning Coaches. We made a more mobile mobility and stretching tool for the fitness community, so we figured we had to compliment it with an amazing aesthetically pleasing and functional carry bag.

The RomRod Multi Unit Tactical Bag will carry five RomRod devices with extra zipper pouches for additional items like keys, wallet, phone and of course our RomRod Rubber End Caps. This multi-functional bag not only carries your devices from place to place, but can also be hung in different ways and in different settings thanks to its double reinforced nylon hang loops and nylon velcro straps for attaching to items like fences and squat racks. (Visualize eliminating ugly eye sores of five gallon buckets full of pvc pipes in the corner of your favorite gym.)

The soft carry bag rolls up when not used and secured with plastic buckles and also provides a carry handle or detachable over the shoulder strap for your preferred method of handling.

And, the best news... Our Multi Unit Tactical Bag inventory should be in our hands in the next week or two. Thank goodness they finally reached the NY Port! 

RomRod Handles - 

Great news, we have a very nice working prototype of our final design for the RomRod Handles. We are so excited to share these images with you, now. The first bulk production order is in the works and we will share more information on these soon. We plan to make RomRod more than a "stretching stick" and these handles are a great example of a small part of the functionality we intend to add to the device.

The RomRod Handles will come in a pair. They will slide over both ends of the device when RomRod is only connected at the center and the end tubes are still secure inside of the center tubes. Each handle comes with a black twist to secure clamping mechanism. This feature keeps the handle light weight and super portable as intended for RomRod.

They are made ergonomically to fit in the hand comfortably for using the RomRod as a massage tool, similar to a massage stick. And then, testing is in the works to be able to add resistance to the ends of the handles in the near future. This will consist of a caribeaner with resistance band attachment to then make RomRod a strength training tool. Adding these handles to your gym equipment helps to eliminate another bulky item in your gym bag, therefore reducing the clutter.

So, lastly we would like to Thank all those that have been patiently waiting to receive their RomRod device. We know it's been nearly a year since our Kickstarter campaign ended. But fear not, we will fulfill every supporters order and deliver your device as soon as our inventory arrives in our hands. RomRod will out weather this supply chain storm and persevere as a small business, because we know how many people we can help have a healthier injury free life.

Happy Holidays from the RomRod Team

RomRod Supporters,

Happy Holidays from the RomRod Team. We wish we could have provided a Christmas Miracle and fulfilled the rest of the orders from our Crowdfunding Campaigns. 

Good News, we expedited another small portion of our Second Production Order through Air Freight at our own expense (Unfortunately, Silver RomRod devices only). We have been deligently working through Quality Control of these units before sending off to y'all as quickly as possible. Again, it is a small portion but we are trying to make our way through our early backers that have not yet received their device. 

As we mentioned in previous updates, we were only able to initially fulfill the first 1,000 devices and not necessarily within 1,000 backers! We were fortunate enough to actually have many backers purchase multiple devices within one order. This is why we continue to stress the 1,000 devices. 

Australia and New Zealand Shipment: We have reached out to some supporters that are located in Australia and New Zealand, but we wanted to share with everyone. RomRod has had trouble fulfilling orders for these two countries as USPS (our preferred shipping partner) is not allowing us to purchase postage for these countries and has delayed shipments from the U.S. We are working on a solution with other carriers and hope to be able to ship devices out to these supporters again soon. 

Second Production Order (Includes 1,500 Silver Devices and 1,000 Black Devices):

Our second production order has cleared Quality Control. This took longer than expected as we wanted to clear up a few items that were of concern with packaging on the second production order to better protect the devices during shipment. We believe this issue was resolved and it will help tremendously.

Shipment has begun on this Second Production Order. As a better timeline, we were told 45-55 days for shipment because of the delays occurring now in the supply chain logistics industry. We promise to update you as we get more information on the shipment. 

Accessories:

RomRod End Caps have been received and we are working on a small social media campaign that we will launch soon. We want to reward as many RomRod backers as possible for your positive support during this trying time. Follow the RomRod Instagram at @theromrod to be in the know when we start this campaign and an opportunity to receive a FREE set of Rubber End Caps for participating. More details to come soon. 

A new Handles design has been in the works the past few months. We should be receiving our first prototype for this new design before the first of the year. It should be a lot of fun testing out this new design that is much simpler, ergonomic, and allows for a more secure attachment to the RomRod device. More details coming soon.
