What’s the deal with the knurling and markings on RomRod?
We wanted to make RomRod more versatile and functional than just a pvc pipe or wooden doll rod, that is commonly used for mobility and barbell warmup. So, we included the same knurling and markings that are commonly found on a barbell. Now, you can practice that same snatch or clean grip that you use on your favorite barbell and have a familiar metal feel.

How does RomRod stay together when it is collapsed?
Its magic… like when you learned about magnetic poles in middle school science. But, seriously, we use some of the strongest earth magnets available to make sure RomRod secures together safely when handling or in your bag while traveling. Our unique magnet specifications allow us to fit them into the cylindrical tubes while still having the pull toward each other that normal magnets would not.

We personally carry RomRod while traveling and have not had any issue with TSA.

Can I add weight to RomRod?
Great question, RomRod is not meant to be used as a barbell with weight plates and adding any sort of resistance is not currently a feature offered. However, we are hopeful for what is in the works for the future of RomRod.

Where is RomRod made?
RomRod was designed in Jacksonville, FL, All attempts were made to have RomRod produced in the U.S., but were unable to affordably have it completed domestically. So, RomRod is made in China under strict quality control standards.

When will I receive my Rewards?
We will ship rewards to the first 1,000 backers immediately after we revived the current production order that has already in the works. Scheduled delivery for those 1,000 units is March, 2021 (But, Shane and Haley the reward box says February. Yes, we apologize as we ran into a little delay in production that has pushed back the initial shipment). Other backers will be receiving their units in April, 2021 as stated in their reward description.
The blacked out RomRod is scheduled to also be delivered in April.

Does RomRod come with a Warrant?
As a company we’re here to stay and will support our products after sale. RomRod is being built to withstand many training sessions and is designed to stand up to the pressures of commercial use, we intend for it to be a part of your fitness lifestyle for a long time.
As part of that commitment we have a 12 month manufacturers warranty against defect. We will cover all personal use and anticipate that you will use it daily.

How is shipping calculated?
This kickstarter is for product only. All shipping, VAT, customs and local taxes etc will be charged separately prior to fulfillment. We’re partnered with a global logistics company who have done this many times before and are excellent at getting the best rates available and keeping prices down for backers.
At the very bottom of the campaign you’ll see a table with sample shipping rates. These have been professionally prepared and factor in one RomRod Since there are so many potential variations of what you’ll select for your rewards, and shipping prices vary over time, it’s impossible to accurately quote exactly what it will be for you today. The table is however an indication of what you will be charged when we get to shipping.

What is BackerKit?
BackerKit is a service that crowdfunded project creators use to keep track of hundreds to tens of thousands of backers—from shipping details, pledge levels, preferences and quantities, whether they have paid or had their card declined, special notes, and everything in between!
The BackerKit software and support team is independent from the campaign’s project team—BackerKit does not handle the actual reward shipping. For more information about the preparation or delivery status of your rewards, please check the project's updates page.
How does BackerKit work?
After the campaign ends, the project creator will send you an email with a unique link to your survey. You can check out a walkthrough of the process here.
I never received my invitation. How do I complete the survey?
The most common reasons for not receiving a survey email is that you may be checking an email inbox different from the email address you used to sign up with Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account, or it may be caught in your spam filter.
Confirm that the email address you are searching matches the email address tied to your Kickstarter, Indiegogo, or Tilt Pro account. If that doesn’t work, then try checking your spam, junk or promotions folders. You can also search for "backerkit” in your inbox.
To resend the survey to yourself, visit the project page and input the email address associated with your Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account.
How do I update my shipping address?
BackerKit allows you to update your shipping address until the shipping addresses are locked by the project creator. To update your address, go back to your BackerKit survey by inputting your email here.
When will my order be shipped, charged or locked?
That is handled directly by the project creator. BackerKit functions independently of the project itself, so we do not have control of their physical shipping timeline. If you want to check on the project’s status, we recommend reading over the project's updates page.
I completed the survey, but haven't received my rewards yet. When will they arrive?
As BackerKit does not actually handle any rewards or shipping, the best way to stay updated on the shipping timeline would be to check out the project's updates page.
